Leipzig – CGRE AG is continuing its development work in Leipzig’s residential construction sector: with the successful completion of the roof structure for the final residential block, Block E, the new-build project on Limburgerstraße has taken a decisive step forward. To mark this significant milestone, CGRE AG held a topping-out ceremony on 30 June. The celebrations focused above all on expressing gratitude to the tradespeople and contractors, whose commitment and professional cooperation have made it possible to drive the construction forward steadily despite the complex economic challenges of recent years.
The current construction project, known as D17, forms an integral part of the Plagwitzer Höfe. The project’s location offers an exceptional quality of life: directly adjacent to the established retail park and just a few steps from Kleinzschocher Park, the neighbourhood combines urban infrastructure with green surroundings.
Overall, the project involves the development of a modern apartment block that will house 105 privately funded residential units. Ranging in size from 39 to 118 square metres and featuring layouts with two to four rooms, the flats offer a wide range of options to suit a variety of living requirements. Each of the 105 flats features a balcony, a loggia or, on the ground floor, a terrace with a private garden area. The development is complemented by an on-site underground car park, which provides not only car parking spaces but also ample facilities for bicycles. The flats are scheduled to be let from the start of 2027.
With this progress, CGRE AG reaffirms its aim of creating attractive living spaces in sought-after urban centres and successfully completing the regeneration of sites.
CGRE AG will provide updates on the project’s progress in the press, on its corporate website under Home – CGRE AG (https://cgre.ag) and on the project website under Home – Plagwitzer Höfe (https://plagwitzer-hoefe.de).
